A wallaroo missing for nearly a month in the Deer Park area is now back home safe.
Owner Andie Davis got a phone call this morning from a neighbor just a mile away letting her know that "Hopkins," a 2 1/2-year-old wallaroo was in his blueberry patch.
Andie packed up a large crate and was able to catch Hopkins using a big metal fishing bet.
Back in August, Hopkins was able to break out of his pen but luckily didn't go too far.
Over the next few weeks, he was spotted a few times but hasn't been seen for the last few days until this morning when Andie got the good news
Now, Hopkins is back at home in his pen with his mom "Bouncy" and his brother "Dave."
Andie says she has added locks so this doesn't happen again and she wanted to thank everyone for their help in bringing Hopkins home.
