SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are investigating a stabbing in north west Spokane that left a man critically injured.
Police say it happened near the intersection of Rustle and Wellesley in north west Spokane around 4:00 A.M. Wednesday morning.
Earlier police thought the attacker may have been female, April Fletcher, in her 30's, who possibly had a personal relationship with the victim. However, now they don't think the Fletcher had anything to do with the crime.
Police are still looking for Fletcher who they believe was in the home when the crime occurred. They believe she may have information that will lead them to a suspect. Police want to reiterate that April Fletcher is NOT a suspect or a person of interest, they just want to talk with her in case she has any information on who may have done this.
The male victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but has since been stabilized.
