Oval track manager Craig Smith is canceling the remaining four races after losing nearly $50,000 dollars.
Smith says the drag strip and road course, which are also located at the facility owned by Spokane County, have been popular, but the losses on the short oval track have offset any profits.
The facility has had a history of losing large amounts of money since the county purchased it in 2008.
This is Smith's second season as manager.
To help with costs, Smith has rented out the track to NASCAR drivers like Kurt Busch for practice before races.
Drivers are also doing what they can to keep short track racing by sponsoring races to help benefit the raceway.
